drunken babbles///

72, 36, 1/2 of the universe... i wanna hold the hand inside you... what's there left to take... vultures to the grave.. to the kill....

blah... i know, i'm just babbling right now..... In any case.. World of Warcraft (WoW)... I'm mutha fuckin' level 60... all mobs bow down... like Rae Kwan.... yeah... bone thugs represent...

Anyways... we laying chill... had a good valentine's day... welcomed by my new pimp ass.. red caped spawn toy... watches over every letter I type... don't know much of what to talk about... so i'll just sing, just like i think no one is listening..

life is meaningful, and so far deep like fathom of a god.... it's good.. it's cool... i feel alive... nothing means a thing to me... so do what you want... and it makes me wonder, why am i so caught off guard when we kiss...

if you can't tell, i'm hush with the finger... where i lay, mcewans ale, mgd, tetleys... poison to the mind, i can't think of another reason... i'm wondering why i'm so caught off guard... when we kiss... as you can tell i don't have much to say, but the fathom of my illict static that makes no sense...

obviously you can see.. this has no point.. just show me where the tinker toy points... and i'll follow...

the tinker toy knows the way...

Innocence. Oh how sweet it is. No worries about anything. Bills, money, food, shelter, jobs, grades, love, anything… god, what I wouldn’t give to have that oblivious innocence again… things were so easy back then… everything I ever wanted was laid out in this candy land of lollipop trees and bubblegum clouds… so sweet, yet so sour… the progression seems so clear now… 7, 9, 13, 16, 19, 21, and on… in such sweet harmonic motion..

The other day as I was pulling into our apartment, I saw this little asian kid who lives a floor below us playing with an American kid… they both had sticks, held strong in their hands and ready to slay any evil that crossed them…

Back in the day, when I was 7-8-ish, when there was no such thing as pain, or love, or that complicated shit… I remember always hanging out with my bestest friend chuckie (I actually called him chook, or chunk, when I first met for some reason… i think it is because Asians have a hard time with that –huck sound… or that’s my theory…).. we always had sticks as weapons.. I remember I had a good 3-5 stick collection of various “weapons” stored in my parent’s garage… Right next to my Lion-o claw and sword… they ranged from a “mighty 2 handed stick” (I believe this was a sturdy branch…) to a “blessed 1 handed scimitar” (most likely weak, but quick flailing maple branch..)…

In any case, I couldn’t possibly count the hours that chuck and I passed, slaying evil, bad guys, with our mighty “swords”… chuck had tinker toys, which we quickly fashioned into a magic compass, to guide us through the world to the evil boss (ala. Zelda)… we’d throw this “compass” into the air, and it’d land… pointing to our destinies… slaying many monsters along the way, we’d always reach the boss… and save the princess… (princess is in another castle my ass…)

This went on for a long time… it was so much fun… pretending the willow/jungle tree next to his pool was a wicked monster, and shedding every branch of it’s foliage in order to slay it…. Knocking the tops of his mom’s asparagus plants, as if we saved the world (yeah, I don’t think she was too happy about that)… writing the words “SEX” in the middle of the road in front of his house, then getting in trouble and having to wash it off with ammonia that spilled into my face because I wanted to demonstrate centrifugal force in a bucket to him…. That’s the innocence, the oblivion, the no-cares, no-whys world I miss…

i remember we had buried a handful of change (nickels, pennies, dimes) into this dirt pile in my yard... one day hoping to excavate our "oblivious innocence" buried in small mounds of dirt... i bet if we went to that spot, we'd find at least $.30 of our treasure there... this was our time capsule...

When I saw them playing together, it couldn’t of been more than a photographic picture of chuck and i… and asian kid with a crew cut haircut, and an english bloke, with brown hair.. both wielding sticks of +25 strength… out to save the world, from the terrible reality that breaks innocence from its cradle…

unpayced.

a potato pancake falling from 5 stories, a coke geyser, alcohol, 2006, 85 degrees, lizards, more C2H6O, reflective crystal caribbean water, new year part 2, dim sum, untracying my pc, and the future...

so i know it's been awhile.. been a little busy lately.. well not so much busy as to lazy, but we'll say busy... lots to catch up on...

new years - jammed on some guitar hero with hazen, alina, jahnel, and jonah, drank mojitos, and povpov vodka that was put through the 'spinning straw to gold' purification process, hit up a jewish house party where hazen and i delighted a crowd (as well as various patrons out on the street on our way to the store) with our coke geyser...

[booya.]

aruba - exasperating. gorgeous. drank, ate, swam and tanned on the beach.. what more could you ask for? this was awesome, we'll definately be heading back there sometime... jahnel's blog has more pictures from it... had lobster, shrimp, filet mingon, sushi, and various island delectables while we were there... oh yeah.. and lots of alcohol (in fact janelle had a bit too much...).. i also developed a wine habit since being there, so now i'm on my way to becoming a wino (although i don't quite know how to properly "taste" yet).. got tanned and burnt, saw lots of lizards... i want to go back (i think next winter we'll be planning on going to the caribbean...)

chinese new years - dim sum and bubble tea with a side order of fireworks, dragon dancing, and the movie ping pong... what better way to celebrate?

the paycing of my pc - i thought i just had bad luck with ALL maxtor SATA and IDE drives... i had gone through about 2 SATA drives and an 2 IDE drives that i thought were all broken.. after buying a new WD replacement IDE drive, and experiencing the same problem, i realized it wasn't the HDD, but rather the power supply... so now i have harddrive space up the ass (since all my "broken" drives actually work)... but at least my pc is back and running...

the future? - more trips now that janelle's airplane cherry is popped... we have one coming up in June to L.A. (will there be a visit to bob barker?), blizzcon for wc3 and starcraft out in CA (how could we miss this?), hopfully, another out of the country trip (somewhere tropical), nyc?, new orleans?, san fran?.. only time will tell...
