[cubicle].
so, i've lied about getting back to this, but i won't let it grow stale like the many other yellowed paper one page filled journals i have (html doesn't yellow does it?).... it's been a pretty busy month... christmas shopping, honeymoon planning, working, writing songs, playing warcraft3, gee-tar hero, and world of warcraft, drinking, eating, etc...
i finally have a moment to catch my breath, only to have it all start again... so on friday, we chilled in the cold ass city streets of chi-town and hit up a musical play, only after visiting this crazy mexican seafood place for dinner... this only being the second time i've ever heard the term "mexican seafood" used together (the first, from nirvana, off the incesticide album)... with all the items on the menu, i ended up with the $5 pimp-ass steak tacos... (i had ordered a a seafood combination soup, but the waitress didn't hear me)... they were, umm... bueno, especially being washed down with authentic mexican cerveza...
the play we saw was a musical adaption of "office space"... damn funny, damn good... the man who played milton was dead on and the songs weren't too bad... hazen was able to get us onto the waiting list in this tiny ass theater, and we were able to get in, and be front and center... i think i got groped and spit on a few times from being so damn close to the actors... this was definately entertaining...
so, coming this jan 6th, janelle and i will be departing to tropical warm aruba... beaches, clear ocean water, beer, food, and sun... i've always wanted to goto a beach where there is clear water (not only am a little afraid of water [see previous posts], but i also have that phobia where if you can't see the bottom, i automatically assume i'm stepping on decaying fish heads, fingers, and dead jellyfish...).. now i get to see what i am stepping on, so i'll never go back in the water... so we're just going to sit around on the beach, drink, eat, play some warcraft 3 (hmmm....) and just relax for the week...
i'm excited for janelle, cause she's never been on a plane before, so this will be her first time... she gets to have the whole flying experience... waking up at 3:00am to catch a 6:00am flight, getting felt up by the guards, running to your transfer gate, playing 'where's waldo' with your luggage as you wait forever for it to come, sitting in the most tightly crammed spot for 4-5 hours as the person next to you keeps silently releasing the mustard gas that has been brewing within his cheeks since he was born...
oh yes. it shall be grand.
